Artist Statement
My work centers around children’s book illustration and the quiet beauty found in everyday life. I am inspired by the small acts of ordinary people—moments of kindness, curiosity, imagination, and connection that often go unnoticed but hold deep emotional meaning. Nature plays a large role in my creative process, especially my love of birds, changing landscapes, and the gentle rhythms of the outdoors, which influence both the mood and storytelling within my work. Using watercolor and ink, I create whimsical, narrative-driven illustrations that invite viewers into warm and imaginative worlds where both children and adults can find familiarity, comfort, and wonder.
